I don't have insurance. What are my options?

No health insurance? Or do you have a high deductible health care plan? Is your copay high? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Direct Primary Care Service offered at Gold Star Primary Care may work for you!*

Are telehealth visits available?
Yes. We understand life can get busy, and we understand sometimes it can be physically hard to come to a doctor’s office. For your convenience we also offer virtual visits. If you choose the Direct Primary Care Membership, this includes unlimited monthly in office or telehealth visits. Telehealth may not be suitable for every patient though. We will discuss at your initial appointment to see if telehealth appointments could work for you. 
Do you see pediatric patients?

Direct Primary Care starts at age 16. This is due to the vaccinations children require up through this age are best regulated for timing through their pediatrician.

Is there a contract for Direct Primary Care?

Yes, there is a 3 month minimum for the Direct Primary Care Membership. 

What types of things does the Direct Primary Care Membership cover?

Chronic illnesses that need regular check ins and follow ups. If you are a diabetic or a patient with high blood pressure for example, those conditions must be monitored regularly to ensure your levels are stable and to address any medication needs or changes. High cholesterol patients are another good fit for routine primary care.
